High End Candles Made With High Quality Ingredients
We make our candles by hand in small batches using high quality ingredients. Our candles are made with soy wax and our scents are made with essential oils to produce a true to life scent. Our candles are phtalate free and engineered to to give the cleanest possible burn.
I started making candles for myself with the highest quality ingredients that I could find. It was never my intent to sell my candles, I simply wanted make candles that performed well. I was often disappointed when I found a scented candle in a store that didn’t smell like anything when it burned. Although poor quality candles may smell great in the jar, after lighting them the smell magically disappears. When other people smelled my candles burning they started asking where I found them. When I said that I make them myself, people started asking if I would sell any. I have learned that there is no magic to creating a candle that smells great in the jar, but there is a science behind making a candle that can effectively release the scent into a room. We follow that science to make candles that will fill a room with the same fragrance that you smell under the lid. We do this by adding a higher fragrance concentration than you will typically find in the big box stores. Many candle makers keep their price down by cutting back on the amount of these expensive fragrances that they add to the wax, or they use lower quality synthetic fragrances. I have been selling to friends and at local craft fairs because the quality is obvious in person, but I am always being asked if I have a website, so here we are. I am in the process of building a website and looking for ways to minimize shipping costs to make purchasing online affordable. For those of you that have purchased candles and are looking for more, feel free to email me at dawnmariescandles@yahoo.com. We have also entered a partnership making the same quality candles for https://www.sunsetviewfarmdahlias.com/candles. A limited variety of our premium candles are available for purchase on that site under different names. Hope to see you soon!
